3. Fire Safety Audit & Consultation

A fire safety audit typically includes reviewing all fire safety equipment, including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers. It’s a procedure for assessing the fire safety standards of an organization or building. A comprehensive fire safety audit examines the inherent fire risks of daily operations and recommends measures to reduce potential fire risks. We have highly trained and experienced professionals who carry out these services efficiently and effectively.

4. Fire Safety Training and Mock Drills

Fire safety training plays a vital role in safeguarding your employees and business. Seyara offers comprehensive fire safety training services that equip your staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize life-saving fire protection systems. Our training programs cover a wide range of essential topics, including identifying fire hazards, conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and responding appropriately during fire emergencies. Fire safety training and mock drills are critical components of a comprehensive fire safety program. These services are often referred to as:

These programs educate individuals on fire prevention, the use of fire safety equipment, and the correct procedures to follow during a fire emergency, ensuring that everyone knows how to respond effectively.

5. Fire Safety RiskAssessment

Our Risk Assessment service utilizes advanced technology, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to analyze and mitigate smoke-related risks. CFD is a scientific discipline that accurately predicts fluid flow, heat transfer, and other related phenomena through mathematical models and numerical processes. We are specialised in conducting the audit and fire risk assessment as per latest NBC, IS codes,NFPA, OISD, PNGRB & T4S etc. By employing CFD, our team can verify the design and specifications, assess product adequacy, and accelerate the development process. This technique enables us to evaluate pressure drops, heat transfer rates, mass-flow rates, and fluid dynamic forces like lift and drag, ensuring a comprehensive assessment for optimal fire safety measures.

6. Fire Fighting Gadgets and Refelling HPT of Extinguishers

Do not use a water fire extinguisher for any reason, on electrical fires as it may lead to electrocution. The experienced Ignis Fire & Security engineers will be able to advise on fire extinguishers suitable and approved to (35 kV dielectric test) for electrical fires. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and dry powder fire extinguishers cut off the connection of oxygen to the fire, however, using the dry powder may lead to other issues elsewhere in your commercial building, so it is important to work with fire engineering professionals who will install the correct fire extinguisher equipment to protect each room within your commercial building.

Seyara Fire Safety offers both Comprehensive and Non-comprehensive AMC.

The services for firefighting gadgets and refilling hydro pressure test (HPT) of fire extinguishers

These services ensure that all fire safety equipment is in optimal working condition and complies with safety regulations.

7. Installation of Fire Suppression Systems

Chemical suppression is a very effective tool for suppressing fire. Primarily, these type of systems extinguish fires by using chemical agents, such as NOVEC 1230 and FM200. They absorb the heat from a fire, which causes the temperature to fall. Consequently, the flames are unable to survive and the fire is extinguished. This fire suppression method is safe for use in most situations and buildings. On top of this, NOVEC 1230 and FM-200 are, in terms of fire suppressants, now considered the ‘green’ products of choice. They are not only fast-acting and free of residue, but they are also non-conductive and non-corrosive, whilst not harming the ozone layer. They are essentially both ‘clean agents’, stored as liquid, which will discharge and extinguish a fire in under ten seconds. Additionally neither Novec nor FM-200 will damage electronics when they are deployed during a fire.

Seyara Fire Safety offers both Comprehensive and Non-comprehensive AMC.

The services for the installation of fire suppression systems are commonly referred to as:

These services include the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of systems that automatically suppress or extinguish fires in various settings, such as commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

8. Fire Alarm Systems

When selecting fire detection alarm systems for your business it is important to consider your objectives for fire safety.

To determine this, it is vital to perform an assessment of the facility and its operations. This assessment should include the way you view your tolerance to risk and your ability to financially compensate for losses. The choice of system depends a lot on the building structure and layout, the purpose of the building and current legislation.
Because facilities are different, this should be weighed in the balance. For instance, a hospital, dormitory or hotel where people might be asleep or unable to fend for themselves can be considered at greater risk for loss of life than a warehouse that stores saleable goods.

9. Fire Alarm Installation

Common sense tells us that smoke and fire detection is essential for protecting premises and occupants from the devastating effects of fire.

The Fire Safety Order 2006 makes it mandatory for all except the very simplest of structures to be equipped with appropriate fire-fighting equipment and fire alarms and detectors. Also, these systems must be serviced regularly.
There is a legal requirement that any company installing and maintaining a fire alarm system must prove its competency. Such companies must follow the standards set out in the government guide BS5839. These guidelines deal with the design and installation, as well as commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

10. Fire Alarm Testing

Fire maintenance safety regulations demand that all fire safety systems should be installed in compliance with British Standard BS 5839 by a professional who is fully versed in the latest legislation. When it comes to fire alarm maintenance these regulations demand that you make every effort to ensure that your fire alarm system is in full working order. Some businesses consider this to mean just once a year. BS 5839 however asserts that this should be at least once every six months.
In larger buildings with more complex systems it recommends that testing should take place at least once a quarter. These should be carried out by an appropriately qualified engineer. As well as these regular system checks. it’s important to carry a weekly spot check of any system you have.

11. Emergency Lighting Installation

Besides lights, you should have signs installed in areas where people can easily see them. The purpose of these signs is to show people the exit routes to follow in the event of an emergency. Some of the areas that require signs include corridor intersections, the beginning and ending of stairways, fire-equipment storage points, changes in direction, lifts, toilets, and fire alarm meeting points. Once again, Ignis install signs in the appropriate areas.

13. Emergency Exit Lighting

Your power supply will, at some point, fail. Whether this is due to routine maintenance or an emergency, such as a fire, there will likely be a point in time where your business’ lights go out. In such circumstances, it is always best to evacuate the building in order to assess the situation and find out if there is any real danger. When you do so, it is always best to make sure that you have the proper lighting to help your employees evacuate. Doing so can not only help to reduce injuries, but can help you to comply with government health and safety regulations.

14. Fire Safety Signs

Fire safety is one of the most important aspects of owning any kind of building. Every reasonable step should be taken to prevent fires and notify individuals of where to exit in the event that one does break out. Loss of life and premises can be significantly reduced by practical fire safety signs and equipment.
Fire safety and prevention should be paramount in the minds of any business owners. Fortunately, our experienced team at Ignis Fire Protection Services Ltd provide everything anyone could need to help prevent the loss of life due to fires. We have five main services that can make any structures safer to inhabit and fire safety signage is one of them.

15. Commercial CCTV Services

As all businesses and premises differ, the CCTV system you need should be unique to you. An IGNIS industry trained representative initially does a site visit – free of charge – to ensure that your CCTV equipment is tailored specifically to your business and building needs. The CCTV package IGNIS provides entirely depends on your requirements. The key manufacturers that IGNIS uses are Hikvision and Samsung. If our core range of security products does not precisely target your business needs, our engineers will go out of their way to find a product that does.

16. Intruder Alarms

As the layout of each business is different – the specifics of their intruder alarm systems must also be different. Our complimentary site visit ensures that your products and systems are specifically suited to your business. Burglar alarms are a legal requirement for many building insurers. Our intruder alarm maintenance services ensure that your business is continuously compliant with insurer specifications by checking quantity, location, functionality and battery life of systems. In the event of a loss of mains power, our security alarms will continue to operate for a minimum of eight hours. The main manufacturers IGNIS uses are Inner Range, Galaxy and Pyronix.

17. Access Control Systems

Our access control systems offers both card/fob access and intercom systems which increase building security by limiting access to certain areas of your business premises. As with all of our services, IGNIS offers a free of charge site survey to ensure that your service is specifically targeted to your needs or problems.

Our access control systems  can be installed together  meaning that components will be wired back to the same controller. This reduces the cost of two separate installations and improves the battery life of the access control systems should there be a loss of mains power.
